MEM 3454 Delayed: "On Thursday, Memory Pharmaceuticals Corp. a drug developer for disorder of the central nervous system, said that the commencement of its Phase 2a clinical trial of MEM 3454, the Company's lead nicotinic alpha-7 receptor partial agonist, in Alzheimer's disease, has been delayed. The delay has occurred owing to a feedback from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, raising its concern over the potential impurities in the clinical material that the company proposed to use in the Phase 2a trial. The trial, which was anticipated to begin in June 2006, has been postponed to later this year."
