FoldRx Pharmaceuticals lands $43M in second round:: "FoldRx Pharmaceuticals Inc. has landed $43 million in second-round venture financing to help fuel continued clinical trials.
FoldRx, which is based in Cambridge (MA), raised an initial $16 million round in December 2004. The latest round will help support clinical trials for its lead drug compound, Fx-1006A, which is finishing an early-stage or Phase I trial to treat diseases of protein misfolding in the brain or heart."
